Inverness City Suites – Frequently Asked Questions

On this page you will find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about Inverness City Suites.

What is a serviced apartment?
A serviced apartment is a type of furnished, self-contained apartment, let or rented out on a nightly basis in generally the same way as a hotel room.

Is there a minimum booking period?
Due to the cost of servicing an apartment, we normally require a minimum 2-night stay.

How much is the Refundable Security Deposit?
We require to pre-authorise a security deposit of £200 per apartment to guarantee against accidental / intentional damage to apartment / fittings / contents.(see Terms and Conditions for full details) This is taken as a hold on a credit or debit card and processed from 3 days prior to arrival. Your apartment will be inspected after departure and provided no damage apartment issues are raised this will be automatically released by your bank within 7 days of processing date.

Group Bookings  
Groups of 6 or more guests or multiple apartment reservations will be considered a group booking to which different Terms and Conditions will apply. Please contact us for more information. 

Stag or Hen Parties. Apartment Use. 
Inverness City Suites does not accept any such groups and reserves the right to cancel any such reservation without refund. Parties / events are not allowed in our apartments. 11pm – 7 am is designated as quiet time which all guests are expected to respect. Minimum Booker age is 21 years . 

Are we required to bring our own bed linen and towels?
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided in all of our apartments. Please note that no cot bedding is provided. 

Do you provide cots and highchairs?
Cots and highchairs can be provided. Please state upon booking if you require a cot or highchair.

Is car parking provided?
For our High Street apartments, free overnight car parking (one vehicle per night / per apartment reserved) is currently provided for the Eastgate Falcon Gallery Car Park – exit ticket and access/exit instructions will be placed in your apartment for your arrival. Additional exit tickets can be purchased on request at £5 per ticket. We always recommend arriving to the unloading bays outside (and in the vicinity of) the High Street apartments to unload passengers and luggage prior to parking your vehicle. Late arrivals require to contact us in advance of arrival for alternative parking instructions (Falcon Gallery Car Park currently closes at 9 pm due to Covid period restrictions). 
Our Hedgefield Apartments and Wellingtonia Mews apartment offer parking bays beside the front door entrance.

Are any of the apartments suitable for the disabled?
Our High Street apartments do not have a lift and access to the apartments is by stairs only. Our Hedgefield apartments have parking opposite the entrance door, ground floor and lift access, and a walk-in shower off the main bedroom. Is smoking allowed in the apartments?
Our apartments are located in buildings that operate non-smoking policies. Penalty charges will apply if guests smoke in these properties.
